Founded in 2023, River City Grill is the vision of Christell Frausto and her family, who combined her culinary roots from Chicago with her dream of creating a community-focused eatery in Peoria. Our menu is packed with favorites like gyros, broasted chicken, Philly cheesesteaks, and the iconic pizza puffs.

We’ve built more than just a restaurant; we’ve created a space where food meets community. Our location on Prospect Road may be tucked away, but it’s a hidden gem. Renovated from the ground up, River City Grill features a cozy dining space for up to 30 guests, a bar offering classic cocktails, and exciting gaming machines recently added to enhance your experience.

As champions of local engagement, we host community events, offer free meeting spaces, and collaborate with Peoria’s Hispanic community through grassroots efforts. We have sponsored the Peoria Southside Soccer Club and Peoria City Soccer International Games for 2023 and 2024 as well as giving 21 scholarships to the youth for anti-violence prevention through Safe Streets Green Futures program. We believe in giving back as much as we’ve received. 

Looking ahead, we’re growing. Our new catering services bring the flavors of River City Grill to your celebrations, while our potential event space expansion promises to host everything from small weddings to quinceañeras.
